COVID-19 Control Measures for Tradespeople Visiting Households

At present the Government guidance - Staying at home and away from others (social distancing) confirms that work carried out in people’s homes, for example by tradespeople carrying out repairs and maintenance, can continue, provided that the tradesperson is well and has no symptoms.

Again, it will be important to ensure that Public Health England guidelines, including maintaining a two (2) metre distance from any household occupants, are followed to ensure everyone’s safety.

In order to assist tradespeople and contractors to understand practical measures that can be taken to control the spread while at work, MSAFE have prepared the following guidance:
