Our Approach
Our first aim is to get a full understanding of your business, organisational culture and main challenges. We'll work with the 'Controlling Mind' to ensure there is a good understanding of legal duties and how a robust health and safety management can benefit your business.
We then undertake a formal gap analysis of the organisation's compliance with legislation and best practice. This allows us to agree an action plan with the Senior Management team that will form the Agenda for Health & Safety Management Meetings (normally chaired and minuted by MSAFE). The regular meetings allow cultural change (where it is needed) and assist in demonstrating how Senior Management has achieved legal compliance and continual improvement.
As a retained competent Health and Safety Advisor, MSAFE are also available for reactive support as necessary. This may involve:
- Telephone / email advice
- Site inspections
- Client meetings
- Accident investigations
- Liaison with insurers
- Solicitors or Health and Safety Executive
We have also been called upon to represent our clients at project tender presentations and to assist in demonstrating our client's commitment to health and safety, which has proven to provide a competitive edge.
