Health and Safety Advice

In our experience Directors can be confused as to how health and safety legislation applies to their organisation and in particular the specific duties placed on them to manage health and safety. MSAFE are safety and health practitioners offering a personable and common sense approach to assist clients in the successful management of health and safety.

A health and safety advisor cannot make your health and safety obligations go away but MSAFE can work with you to develop effective health and safety management systems and assist you in complying with legislation. Assisting in the production of a health and safety policy, risk assessments and method statements has it's place and MSAFE can undertake the same with clients ensuring they are bespoke to the organisation. Where possible however MSAFE likes to work with our clients to develop robust health and safety management systems.

When considering external advice you should consider carefully how you select your health and safety advisors and their competencies. MSAFE provide Chartered Health and Safety Advisors with experience in a range of industries. Individuals within the organisation are listed on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register, are Chartered Members of IOSH and hold membership of other relevant organisation such as APS (Association for Project Safety). Where we do not have in house expertise we have access to a range of partners who we can engage or signpost you to. You should ask any external advisor for evidence on what makes them competent (their training and experience) to undertake the assignment. MSAFE will always consider this when reviewing a request for services and can demonstrate this to the client where requested.

If you would like to talk to someone about how health and safety legislation affects your business contact our office to talk to one of our team of Chartered Safety and Health Practitioners.
